Cross Roller Slewing Bearings

Cross Roller Slew Bearing is with rolling elements in a 90°cross arrangement at 1:1. Due to the roller transmitting load in a single direction and the contact area of the roller being more significant than the ball, the rotational torque is less than a ball-type design. It can provide higher rigidity and strength. Although the crossed roller slew bearing has less load capacity than the ball type with the same size rolling elements, the crossed roller type bearing has higher stability.

Cross Roller Slewing Bearings

Crossed roller slewing bearing incorporates two rings and is designed with compact construction, lightweight, high precision, and small assembling clearance. The rollers are crossed one by one, enabling the slewing bearing to accommodate high axial, radial, and tilting moment loads. Gear teeth on the outer ring, inner ring or without gear teeth, bearing rings with through-holes or threaded holes for fixing screws.

旋臂交叉滚子轴承由一个内部ring, outer ring, single row roller, cage (gasket), and sealing device. Crossed roller slewing bearings can bear axial load, overturning moment, and radial load at the same time. The design and application of the cross roller slewing ring are the same as the four-point contact ball slewing ring. The difference is that the rolling element is replaced from the ball to the roller, and the contact method between the rolling part and the ring is changed. Point contact becomes line contact. These changes increase load carrying capacity, but wear and friction moment loads also increase.
