4030 Taper Lock Bushings

The tapered lock bushing has a through-hole length 8 degrees shorter than the diameter of the shaft. It is installed using screws or blind socket head cap screws, driving the bushing into the bore of the assembly and compressing the inner diameter of the bushing to bond the shaft. Tapered Lock Bushings are available in a variety of shaft bore diameters from 1.25" to 1.25". Metric apertures are indicated by "MM". The tapered locking bushing is flush with a pulley or sprocket.
