Ever-Power Series #240 cottered roller chain supplies a high 10sile strength of 154,000lbs, and a working load 22,220lbs. One of the most important features that make this chain last longer than others is that it features fully heat-treated solid bushings, which creates a high strength and long lasting precision bushing. It also features heat-treated, wide couture side plates that have been shot peened, this increases working load and the overall performance of the roller chain. Ever-Power Series #240 cottered roller chain also features heat-treated, hardened pins. This increases the shock load rating, 10sile strength, and overall durability of the roller chain. Another important feature of this roller chain is that it has heat-treated solid rollers, which increases the overall performance of the chain and the working life. Ever-Power Series roller chains are engineered to be a high strength and durable roller chain with great performance and a long working life. This roller chain is commonly supplied, as 10ft boxes including 1 connecting link per box, but alternate lengths are available upon request. Cottered roller chain uses cotter pins instead of rivets, the benefit of this is that the chain is easier to install sections and eliminate the need of cutting the rivet pins. We offer additional connecting links and offset links for this chain as well, which having a few of these on-hand can keep you out of a down situation and keep you up and running.
