Medium and High Frequency Induction Heaters
Medium and high frequency induction heaters are mainly composed of inverters, resonant units, transformers and inductors. The inverter is an AC-DC converter, which converts the AC power into medium or high frequency power of several thousand to several hundred kilohertz. The resonant unit and transformer are connected to the inverter at one end and the inductor at the other end, which turns the high voltage into isolated low voltage and matches the mastication resistance. During heating, a strong high-frequency current flows through the inductor, generating an induced current in the conductor so that the conductor is rapidly heated. The resonant frequency of the induction heater varies according to the object to be heated, and the process, generally from a thousand to tens of kilohertz is most commonly used.
