Washdown duty electric motors are manufactured using 304-grade stainless steel frame, bracket, junction box, and shaft. What sets this washdown duty 1/3 horsepower electric motor apart from others is the double-lipped seals with an additional shaft slinger on the drive end, O-rings on end-bells to eliminate moisture, and the industry leading 1.15 service factor.
