This chain also features pins that are quad-staked fully heat-treated to provide the maximum durability and strength. Additionally this chain is oil quenched during the heat-treating process to ensure ideal and proper medal hardening. This 667X pintle chain also features a well engineered open-barreled design which minimizes the contact between the pin and surface, as well as preventing material build up that of10 results in the chain freezing. On top of that the open barrel design also helps remove build up on sprockets, thus increasing the overall life and performance of the chain and sprockets.
