Dual-worm slewing drive is usually installed horizontally and is mainly used in engineering machinery. As two worms drive the worm gear, it can output more significant driving moments, more reliable self-locking performance, and better safety performance in restricted space. And it is usually applied on occasions of low speed but at a more significant moment, such as flat-form tire trolleys and overhead traveling cranes.

Characteristics of Dual Worm Slewing Drive

Dual-worm slewing drive is a brand newslewing driveproduct, which consists of an outer casing, worm gear ring, worm, motor, and other components. Compared with the single worm slewing drive, the dual-worm slewing drive still has the characteristics of modularization, safety, and simplified host design. The load capacity is better, and the output torque far exceeds that of a single worm rotary drive. The dual-worm slewing drive abandons the core component slewing bearing in design and forms a double-row space cross-roller slewing bearing in theory through the outer casing and the worm gear.
